Dakarai was founded in 2011, dedicated to children and youth awareness through art and education for development. Our events and workshops are aimed at supporting children living at risk of social exclusion and extreme poverty. Internationally, we cooperate with local organizations immersed in caring for children living in the streets. Our goal is to help strengthen, extent an effectiveness of the rights of girls and boys on earth.
The Convention on the Rights of the Child, while necessary, is clearly insufficient. International efforts, consistent with a dehumanized ethics have become blurred to a drama that should be a priority. Children's rights are a marginal issue on the political agenda, overshadowed by the hegemony of an economic system and a correlation of interests that are the main cause of the structural and institutionalized violence, poverty and exclusion, reflecting the great ethical precariousness and spiritual development of advanced societies.

About creativity and Art
Each work, each music unrepeatable contains essences that together communicate the great wealth of the peoples and of humanity. Art is one of the most interesting and powerful vehicle for expression, one of the transverse dimensions in everyday life that can make us more sensitive. Along with creativity, they are fundamental to the well-being in times of upheaval such as we live. When people are immersed in creative thought processes for Peace and Solidarity, we are committed to the transformation. It is easier to love what is different when a melody, a dance or a story enrich us, art and creativity are raw material for happiness.
Objectives 2014-2015
Designing a production of children's playful and participatory, youth programs to promote Education for Development:
- Storytelling intercultural awareness through music and dance.
- Developing Education Workshops
- Musical and cultural events for all ages to foster a love of diversity, intercultural and spirituality.
Collaboration and dissemination, visibility and reporting of an untenable reality in a world of wealth and opportunity.
- Organizing charity events and conferences for children in collaboration with other organizations in the sector.
Fundraising for funding:
- Social projects aimed at children without resources in the Community of Madrid, giving priority to single mothers.
International cooperation projects aimed at reducing child suffering:
