The Education for Development is about observation and reflection on the inequalities that define our planet. It also offer a vision for the transformation towards a new ethic, a conscious ethics of exclusion and injustice, seeking reunion with an empathic solidarity, made of involvement and responsibility, caring and willing to recognize every human being and nature. Every life is a value in itself, a target for solidarity. That is why our commitment and cooperation environments for children in extreme poverty is the starting point in the search for balance and overall progress.


Our commitment to children's rights, and our experience with children living on the streets in Calabar, Nigeria, are the source of sense of values ​​and content that we strive to develop and transmit to the children of environments that is already developed.
The awareness is the first step towards transformation. Being sensitive means to perceive, assess and take openness to difference, allowing importance to many phenomena that have to do with unequal resources, rights and opportunities for a decent life. Raise awareness in a context of peace and security, is an invitation to inclusion in a citizenry that wants equality between human beings and peoples.


Following the guidelines set out in the IV Master Plan for Spanish Cooperation 2013-2016 Dakarai complements its interventions in the South to education for development in Spain.
When we talk about poverty, we talk about socioeconomic differences and diversity. To encourage girls and boys a critical understanding of this phenomenon, we adopt the approach of intercultural pedagogy.
From this perspective aims at promoting awareness and positive assessment of the "Other" as well as promote awareness of the need for a more fair world.

The methodology of our workshops is profoundly active and participatory, incorporating them in socio-emotional and intellectual aspects. From the experimental and experiential learning, the children can integrate new knowledge and values, and internalize positive attitudes towards diversity. Our focus is the search and discovery of springs emotional and intellectual, to promote sensitivity to issues closely linked to the structural inequality, such as gender equality, the environment and responsible consumption.
Dynamics raised favor that children learn through play. The game is a fundamental category of human behavior that frees the imagination and allows the creation of shared meanings. Our goal is to foster a culture of solidarity, committed to poverty reduction and sustainable human development.


Through stories, music, dance, theater and workshops to diverse content, we would like to contribute to inner growth that we all need in our adult life, from childhood to encourage participation and individual and collective involvement in the transformation towards a fair world.
